Who we are:
Survivors Supporting Survivors are a voluntary organisation as a SCIO (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation) SC051109.
The organisation is focussed on supporting survivors of a brain injury at any stage of their recovery as a primary focus, secondly family van go through a difficult experience over the course of the recovering and support for them is available to.
For now, Survivors Supporting Survivors is focussed in Scotland, we wholeheartedly believe that the support available to survivors is best served by people who have gone through a similar process. However, Brain injuries is not only a Scottish injury and believe that this need is one that must stretch too everywhere and anywhere. For now, we will start and are focussed at home.
How we collect information:
We collect information about you when you:

· Make a donation
· Access social media sites
Information we collect:
The personal information we collect from you may include your name, address, email address, phone number, IP address and information about the pages you have accessed on our website and when. If you make a donation or make a purchase your credit card information is NOT held or stored by us. This information is collected by our third-party payment processor (Paypal) who specialise in the secure online payment processing of credit/debit cards transactions. The payment processor will not share your personal data, except to provide the necessary payment services to us.
How we use your information:
We may use your personal information to:
· Improve your browsing experience by personalising the website
· Enable your use of the website and its services
· Process a donation you have made
· Contact you with information you have requested to receive i.e. events and fundraising activities
· We may use legitimate interest to send you relevant information if we have a long term relationship with you
