To provide relief to those who have suffered or been affected by brain injuries through the provision of a range of practical assistance and support, delivered by those who have experienced the same recovery process.
Our activities will help achieve the relief of those in need in that through providing a range of practical assistance and support wherever they are located – including the aforementioned support groups, one-to-one help, survivor activity groups, advice and information -, those who have suffered or been affected by brain injuries will have access to a means of alleviating the impact of the injury and assisting their recovery.
Our activities will also achieve the promotion of equality and diversity in that through promoting an understanding of brain injuries among the public and other organisations/agencies and raising awareness of the importance of meeting the needs and rights of survivors of brain injury, we will help to contribute to a more equal, inclusive society for survivors. Brains are part of every person and unfortunately injuries can happen to us all, therefore we will support everyone who contacts us regardless of their race/religion/gender/age/sexuality/socioeconomic status or geo-graphical location.
